316L stainless steel resists oxidation well, and a PVD gold-tone finish generally lasts longer than standard gold dipping. It is still a thin layer: avoid perfume, lotion, chlorine and cleaning products, and store your jewellery somewhere dry to preserve its colour. If your skin reacts, take the piece off.
